During my recent transit in Sanur, I stayed at Ajanta Villa and I must say that it was a convenient choice. The hotel provided a shuttle service from Ngurah Rai International Airport, which was located 20 km away. This made my journey to the hotel hassle-free and saved me the trouble of arranging transportation on my own. the database mentioned that the hotel is designed for transit stays, making it a perfect choice for travelers looking for a comfortable stopover option.
Although there were windows in the room, the natural light was not sufficient and I had to rely on artificial lights most of the time.

Nice pool in the villa. Close to the beach / sea.
Villa furnishings could do with a spruce up. Bit musty and dated.

You know how you prepare yourself for something and have high expectations, then when you are actually there you still get surprised because it's just so beautiful? That's what Ajanta Villa is. We had Villa c, in the corner and away from the hustle. The overall place was lovely, with two chefs cooking us breakfast in the morning, 2 living areas, an outdoor shower, jacuzzi bath tub, extra toilet, big comfortable bed, tv with free-to-rent DVDs, paper in the morning and of course, a private pool. This made our trip perfect. It's quiet, romantic, relaxing, beautiful and just a haven for busy city rats.
The pool we had was not really in the sun, so the temperature was freezing and not able to swim in it.

The Breakfast which is served in ur own Villa, is very nice, als the private Pool was perfect.
Going to Beach you have to go through a Market, at night is very dark because the market is closed

We loved the privacy of the Villas. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and spoke english well. The easy acces to the beach or street was very convenient. The breakfast cooked to your liking in your villa each day was unexpected as was the afternoon cocktails and nibbles but we enjoyed them both. We would certainly stay there again and would recommend the hotel to any one.

The staff were exceptional, always helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, markets, warungs, massages, everything you need. The attached gym was great and had everything we needed for a good workout.
The villas are starting to look a bit tired, but they were still fine.
